Can anybody please tell me a guide on how to obtain bios7.bin, bios9.bin and firmware.bin for melon ds emulator? Please give me a step-by-step guide! Thanks to commenters @elfor and @Shinobi87 for pointing out the missing files. Note that the Nintendo DS firmware has to be set explicitly, because the firmware also contains user name etc., so that the hash will not match. Here are the included files, for easier reference.
MelonDS requires BIOS/firmware dumps from a DS. The files must be placed in the same directory as the melonDS executable, as follows:. bios7.bin - ARM7 BIOS, 16KB. bios9.bin - ARM9 BIOS, 4KB. firmware.bin - firmware, 256KB or 512KB. Note: the DS-mode firmware in the 3DS isn't bootable. It only contains the bare minimum required to run. Lr-desmume/lr-desmume2015 can optionally load and use the NDS BIOS/Firmware files: bios7.bin, bios9.bin and firmware.bin. Place the files in /home/pi/RetroPie/BIOS. Nintendo DS emulator. MelonDS is a Nintendo DS emulator. Required firmware image files (bios7.bin, bios9.bin, firmware.bin) are not included. There is no official package available for openSUSE Leap 15.2.

Emulator: DraStic
Note that while DraStic may run very well, it is currently experimental beta software. Any games that use the microphone will only create noise and will not use a real microphone, Also any games in 'bookmode' (e.g Brain Training) will always play rotated at 90 degrees and cannot be rotated in Drastic.
