F3r Engine Manual

Anyways 1 quick question. I see from the Haynes manual that some F3R engines have an auxiliary shaft on the timing belt and some have a toothed pulley in the same place. Anyone know what the difference is and if it matters? Cheers Again P.S. It states 750 and 751 have auxiliary shafts and 796, 798, 791 & 797 don't have the auxiliary shaft. F Renault engine is an automotive internal combustion engine, four-stroke, with 4 cylinders in line bored directly into the iron block, water cooled, with tree (s) driven overhead camshafts (s) by a belt distribution belt with an aluminum cylinder head, overhead valve, developed and produced by Renault in the early '80s, making its appearance on the Renault 9 and Renault 11.
