Hi All,
I have seen a lot of post regarding this issue, but I think I can fix my issue if I can find the right firmware version.
Here is a run down of what happen.
First I just started at this company 2 months ago, so I still learning their set up.
One of my oversees colleagues updated our IPO from 8.1.69 to 8.1.91
It is ip500v2
After they restarted the system after the updates, our phones were complaining about firmware, 1416 and 9508. All digital
I found on other post how to get the firmware updated via Embedded File Management and uploaded the correct bin file and then going to Upload System Files to get the files to push out(I think this is what pushed them out, I could be wrong, and if so would like that correct explanation)While doing this I did receive errors about missing files. Some for 1400R38 and 1403R07 and one for 9500R55.
I wasn't sure if this was needed as I did have the 1408_1416_R40.bin in the system files, but was able to find it on Avaya's site so loaded it anyway.
Now I think if I find the 9500R55.bin that would solve the issue I am having with the 9508 Firmware upgrade issue where the phones just say please wait. Again I could be wrong, as I am still learning this upgrade process.
I cannot find this firmware on Avaya's site, does anyone know how I can get this?
Also a funny thing is if I plug the phones directly to the Modules they work fine, it is just when they are at the desks they get this message. This would make me thing bad cabling, but they worked fine before IPO was upgraded so that part I dont understand.
Any help or information to assist with my learning of this would be great.
Thanks,
